I bought 4 small and 2 large. The large ones are just great but the magnets on the smaller ones seem to have little holding power. If the magnets were stronger they would also be great.

Well, your photographs are a little misleading. Some common object like a coke can would help provide scale to better judge what you're getting. Seems your magnets are a little on the light side....maybe OK for holding gauge sheet metal, but not quite what you want for dimension steel plate. That being said, it makes the pricing pretty steep for what you actually receive. Combined with the products taking over a month to get here, these factors mean I probably won't be shopping you guys again anytime soon.

I do not believe this is made in the US- shipped DHL Global Mail and forwarded by USPS. Ordered 12/15 as an Xmas gift, arrived a week into the new year. Disappointed and not too happy that this was not made in US as stated.

The item description says (pads) but the quantity only says one. This lead me to believe I was purchasing one set of pads. That was not the case. I only received one pad, which was meant to be a gift, so I gifted my friend with only one pad. That was a bit disappointing. Other than that the product looks like it will do what is says it will. Precise communication is very important.

It's a clever idea but not very well made. The rare earth magnets could be stronger and better attached to the hinge device. The first time I attached and removed the device from a metal surface, the magnet pulled free from the hinge and remained attached to the metal.
I can think of several ways to prevent that from happening, but then again, it's not my invention.

This is a quality tool, with a strong magnet, good articulation and rivits that hold everything just snug enough, in short, it is everything as advertised. Communication with the company was good, check out easy and shipping was not fast but acceptable. My only complaint is that I would like to see these at a lower price point. I would buy more but for me the cost is too high. Overcome that hurdle and these should sell like hot cakes.

I think the joints should have more resistance and the magnets stronger. They are small, so it will be interesting to see how helpful they will be?

We used them for one project so far and were happy with how well they held the pieces in place. Dont count on them to fix your goofs though. The hubs did get one end welded slightly off 90, and the magnets weren't strong enough to hold the other end of the bar where it needed to be. Happy with our purchase overall though!

The order I placed only came with 1 actual piece. Granted I should have been more careful in reading the description, but I assumed that for the price, this would come with 2-3 pieces as shown in the instagram ads. The actual product is good. But, given you only get 1 piece, it's not good value, you can by better tools at a local welding supply store for less money. I feel a little duped by the great advertising. Again, product is not bad, I just don't think it's good value for a single piece on a basic order.

These little adjustable magnets are extremely helpful for holding small pieces of metal in odd places and angles for welding, which is very useful for the things that I build. I find that they are just the right size for getting into small places that larger magnets cannot. The only criticisms I have is that one of the hinges on one of mine is too loose and won’t always stay in the position that I want it, and I feel the magnets could be just a tad stronger. Nevertheless, I find these to be very helpful.
